Rooted in the Land. Shaped by History.
There is a corner of Calabria where the olive groves have been standing longer than any living memory. The trees grow slowly here, shaped by dry summers and cool mountain air, their roots reaching deep into soil that has fed generations of farming families. This is where Oli del Regno delle Due Sicilie begins — not in a boardroom, not in a marketing brief, but in the land itself.
Our name is not decoration. The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was the southern Italian realm that once united these territories under a single identity — proud, agricultural, Mediterranean to its core. That heritage lives in how we grow, harvest, and press our olives. We have not updated the method because we have not found a reason to.
Four Varieties. One Standard.
We work with four olive varieties that the Calabrian landscape has made its own over centuries:
-
Olearia — delicate and balanced, with a clean finish
-
Leccino — mild and fruity, with a gentle bitterness that opens up on the palate
-
Coratina — bold and peppery, with a richness that lingers
-
Nocellara del Messinese — bright and aromatic, with a freshness that speaks to the sea
Each variety is harvested by hand at exactly the right moment of ripeness. No machines, no shortcuts. The olives are cold-pressed within hours of leaving the tree, preserving the polyphenols, the fragrance, and the full nutritional integrity that industrial processing destroys.
The result is an extra virgin olive oil that tastes like it came from somewhere — because it did.
Why We Do This
There are faster ways to make olive oil. There are cheaper ways. We are not interested in either. What drives us is the conviction that the Mediterranean world produces something extraordinary, and that the people who buy our oil deserve to taste it as it actually is: unfiltered by compromise, untouched by shortcuts.
We ship to customers across Europe, the Americas, and beyond — people who seek out real food, who read labels carefully, who understand that what they put on their table matters. For them, this oil is not a condiment. It is a connection to a place and a tradition that is worth preserving.
We are a small farm. We intend to stay that way.
